Olivia Edgerton

Farming has always been part of Olivia’s life, and her career path has given her a wealth of experience across all aspects of dairy farming. She studied Dairy Herd Management at Reaseheath University Center, completing a placement on a 1,200-cow farm where she stayed for seven years. During this time, she worked closely with the farm vets, focusing on calf rearing and transition management.

Her career expanded into teaching before joining the UK’s largest robotic milking manufacturer. There, she played a key role in developing and rolling out their digital portfolio, supporting franchises with system transitions, and providing training to help staff understand robot settings, interpret data, and make informed on-farm decisions.

Olivia joins Advanced Ruminant Nutrition to continue her focus on robotic milking, while also connecting her expertise in robotic data with nutritional strategies to drive improvements on farm. She’s looking forward to working alongside farm teams, to help trouble shoot on farm and to build strong relationships to help deliver sustainable results.
