Profile

Dr Rosie Armstrong is a qualified veterinary surgeon and one of our dedicated Ruminant Specialists, working with our team across Scotland and the North of England, with a particular focus on fertility at a UK-wide level.

Rosie graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2018 as a veterinary surgeon and went on to complete her DBR master’s degree in bovine reproduction at the University of Liverpool. Her research explored the relationship between animal health and nutrition, a connection that continues to drive her work today.

With a strong background in fertility, Rosie has always been passionate about supporting farmers in achieving healthier, more productive cows. After several years in veterinary practice, she chose to move into nutrition consultancy to have a greater influence on whole-farm management. Joining our team allowed her to work within a company that integrates veterinary expertise and a holistic, farm-focused approach, ensuring fertility and herd health go hand in hand.

Rosie’s interest in cattle began early, inspired by her grandfather’s farm in Ireland. Today, she lives on her husband's family dairy farm in South Lanarkshire, keeping her closely connected to the challenges and rewards of farming life.
